HearingAid Pro is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any of your personal information or health data. Your audiograms, hearing test results, and all app settings remain completely private and stored only on your device.
1. Information We Do NOT Collect
HearingAid Pro does NOT collect, store, or transmit:
- Personal information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Health information (audiogram data, hearing test results, hearing loss degree)
- Device information (device ID, advertising ID, location)
- Usage data (how you use the app, features accessed, settings)
- Audio data (microphone input, processed audio, recordings)
- Analytics or crash reports
- Cookies or tracking technologies
Important: HearingAid Pro operates entirely on your device. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to access your information. We don't even know who our users are.
2. Data Storage
2.1 Local Storage Only
All data created or entered in HearingAid Pro is stored locally on your device using:
- UserDefaults: App settings, EQ gains, volume levels, feedback cancellation settings
- Local Files: Audiogram data, hearing test results, prescription information
2.2 What is Stored Locally
- Audiogram measurements and hearing test results
- Active prescription type (NAL-NL2 or DSL v5)
- EQ band gains for each frequency (250 Hz - 8 kHz)
- Overall volume and per-ear volume settings
- Feedback cancellation filter frequencies
- Custom preset configurations
- Tinnitus therapy settings
2.3 Data Security
Your local data is protected by:
- iOS sandbox security (app data isolated from other apps)
- Device encryption (when device passcode/Face ID/Touch ID is enabled)
- iOS backup encryption (iCloud/iTunes backups are encrypted)
3. Data Sharing
We do not share any data because we do not collect any data.
HearingAid Pro does not:
- Share data with third parties
- Sell data to advertisers
- Use analytics services
- Integrate with social media platforms
- Send data to our servers (we don't have servers)
4. Third-Party Services
HearingAid Pro does NOT use any third-party services, including:
- No analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
- No advertising networks
- No crash reporting services
- No cloud storage services
- No authentication services
5. Permissions
5.1 Microphone Permission
Purpose: Required for real-time audio processing (hearing aid functionality) and in-app hearing tests.
Usage: Audio is processed in real-time and immediately output to your headphones. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted.
5.2 No Other Permissions Required
HearingAid Pro does NOT request:
- Location access
- Camera access
- Contacts access
- Photos access
- Bluetooth permission (handled automatically by iOS)
6. Children's Privacy
HearingAid Pro does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. The app can be safely used by individuals of all ages under appropriate supervision for medical device use.
7. Medical Disclaimer
Important Medical Information:
- HearingAid Pro is not a medical device and is not FDA approved for medical use
- It does not replace professional audiological evaluation and treatment
- Audiogram data and hearing test results are for personal use only
- For medical concerns, consult a licensed audiologist or ENT specialist
8. Data Backup and Transfer
8.1 iCloud/iTunes Backup
Your HearingAid Pro data may be included in your device's iCloud or iTunes backup. These backups are:
- Encrypted by Apple
- Controlled by your Apple ID
- Subject to Apple's Privacy Policy
- Not accessible to HearingAid Pro developers
8.2 Device Transfer
When you transfer to a new device:
- Settings and audiograms transfer if you restore from backup
- No data is sent to our servers during transfer
- All data remains under your control
9. Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time by:
- Delete individual audiograms: Swipe to delete in Audiogram Management screen
- Clear all settings: Delete and reinstall the app
- Complete removal: Delete the app from your device
Since all data is stored locally, deleting the app completely removes all your data. We do not retain any copies.
10. Version Check System
HearingAid Pro includes a version check feature that:
- Connects to: https://appsolutions.pro/hearingaid/api.txt
- Checks if the app version is current
- Does NOT send any user data or device information
- Only receives a simple validation response (1 or 0)
- No personally identifiable information is transmitted
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the App Store update notes.
Continued use of HearingAid Pro after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
12. Your Rights
Since we do not collect any data about you, there is no data to:
- Request access to
- Request correction of
- Request deletion of
- Request export of
- Opt out of collection
You have complete control over your data because it never leaves your device.
13. International Users
HearingAid Pro can be used anywhere in the world. Since no data is collected or transmitted:
- No data crosses international borders
- No data is subject to foreign jurisdiction
- GDPR, CCPA, and other privacy laws are inherently complied with
